Conan Doyle and Undershaw I’ve written a blog post (click on the headline) about the reason why Sir Arthur Conan Doyle built his home Undershaw. His wife Louise was ill in tuberculosis and they needed to settle down in an area of England that was almost like the health resorts in Switzerland.
